Cryxterra is a collection of gallery spaces emerging from the rock ledges of a former quarry. Design elements emerged from computationally replicating the tiling patterns of an organically-ocurring crystal structure, then distorting these geometries at moments of intersection. Each gallery space appears as an impenetrable stone boulder, with the only natural light being channeled through glassy intersections between exhibit spaces.
